Jeoffrey Mathabatha

Jeoffrey, the founder of Mafanywa Mphage, completed his studies at Tswane University of Technology in 1998 where he obtained both B-Tech in Quantity Surveying and Project Management . Already during his second year at University, he started as a junior Quantity Surveyor at LTA Building Construction in Gauteng.
After completing his studies, he joined Eskom Distribution within the Engineering Department and worked as a Contracts Administrator, later being promoted to the post of Senior Quantity Surveyor. In 2002 he took up the post of Procurement Specialist at Sasol.
Jeoffrey was also contracted as a project manager to work for Johannesburg Water and Begin Africa. Later he formed his own company to further enhance his career.
Jeoffrey has strategically shaped Mafanywa Mphage’s strategy and work ethics. He has structured the company not only to deliver quality and cost effective services but has also incorporated the vision to expand further into Africa.

Eric Avhapfani Mafanywa

Eric obtained his B-Tech from Tswane University of Technology in 1998, whereafter he joined Cilliers & Liebenberg and later Rolf Frolich Construction.
He gained extensive industrial experience working as Quantity Surveyor for Lynco Contractors based at Sasol Synfuels Plant. He was recruited by Sasol Synfuel as Procurement Officer responsible for contracts valued at 120 million per annum.
In 2002 he joined Turner Townsend (Mining & Process Division) as Quantity Surveyor and Cost Engineer. He later joined the ranks of Venn & Milford and spesialised in Coal Mining projects.
In March 2006 he started as Senior Quantity Surveyor for Davis Langdon Engineering in their Mining & Process Division.
Eric is the co-founder of Mafanywa Mphage and his extensive mining sector experience augments the company’s intellectual capital.
